Temperature guage
once again im not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this, but does anyone know where i can order an oem temperature guage, we figured out that either the resistor on the back, or the guage itself is messed up, cuz whenever u turn the key to on the needle just gets pegged up, all the connections are fine, but b4 i go calling up junkyards, id figured id ask if ne one here knows where i can find a new one, or rebuilt one?
(btw the 2 chevy dealerships by me say they dont make them anymore, and they dont have ne in stock)

Re: Temperature guage
well if your temp guage in the car is peggin out when you turn the ignition on then most likely the wire is grounded somewhere. i would check the wire and make sure it isnt broken and that it is hooked up correctly. Its probably not you temp guage, but its the wire that goes from the side of the block to the guage in the car. i had the same issue, the little clip that was on the wire that went into the block broke and i hooked it up wrong the first time and grounded it out and it pegged out.
