Engine revs up

My engine revs up on its own while she is at idle and when u drive, anyone have any ideas as of why?

No codes as of yet, but I am not sure that it works bc I got to rewire the car. What is an AIC sensor?

Idle Air Control.

There's probably a way you can test these sensors with a multimeter, since the ECM may or may not be helping you out. Check your haynes manual perhaps.

Check your EGR type...if it runs off exhaust backpressure..it could be a problem with the cat or the EGR itself.
