Starter

I Have LT headers from a 2nd Gen on my T/A. I'm going to need to take the header off to change the started aren't I? It exploded today.

Just roll under the car and look. How did you get gen2 LT's on your car?

Id like to know that as well, I always see longtubes for 2nd gens on ebay and wondered if I could make them fit with some hammering.

It can be done, It takes a lot of hammering and the fuel tank vent line needs to be moved on the driver side. I had to do an A/C delete just to get them in, even with the motor lifted 9in. Biggest problem is once they are in you have only 8in to the cross member and the collector is higher than the cross member. You'll need to have an exhaust shop bend you a Y and you'll need a custom cross member.
