Rocker stud taps break through?

I just got my Dart aluminum heads in. I've never taken the time to look at other heads but I did this time. There are a few (more than half) of the rocker stud taps that break through what I believe is the cooling channel/jacket of the head. My first thought is that is an issue. Second thought is RTV or teflon tape??? Comments?

Do you mean the bottom of the hole, or the side of the threads?

If the bottom of the hole, look inside the intake ports while shining a light into the stud hole. Do you see light?

Liquid Teflon sealer would be my recommendation.

Re: Rocker stud taps break through?

Bottom of the tap. The pilot hole, not the threads themselves. Is this normal?

Re: Rocker stud taps break through?

So I confirmed, some of the taps pilot holes are breaking into the intake ports. This is apparently a normal occurence. Silicone sealer is the recommended application on the rocker arm stud threads.

I guess, live and learn
