HVAC case busted

Car: 88 GTA
Engine: L98
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9bolt
HVAC case busted
this is a 88 gta 150,000 miles on it,
anywasy the interior is in really goosd shape didgital dash still works and all.
The problem im having is the blend dor wont switch and if you turn the heat or air on it blows out of the floor, by the windshiled and BARLY out the vents. It pretty much doesnt even work. So I took it apart and found that the case is worn really bad were the blend door is. The door drags and gets hungup and wont move and there is really nothing i can do about it. I want to fix the car up but this just seems like a big concern for me because i HAVE to have heat. I could care less about the air but it doesnt have t tops so air would be nice.
Would a 4th gen hvac case fit and aloe me to keep the digital dash
or what can i do

Look in the TGO classifieds forum. People are taking AC out of their cars all the time.

wl any year 3rd gen work as long as it has AC or dows it have to be from a digital dash car

I may be wrong, but I believe the housing itself is the same for all years. The control panel changed over the years, but that's all (I think).
