to get some ideas
I've been working on my camaro going on year number 5 now and my tastes in life have changed. I've been thinking about selling it and using the money for a home... and starting my life and family. So my question to my fellow thirdgen members is... what would you realistically pay for my setup. I'll list everything out and we can go from there. Thanks in advance to your input whether its what i want to hear or not.
1986 Camaro Berlinetta
86,000 miles on the body
body and paint in good shape
- no motor -
built turbo 350 tranny with 4600 stall
converted to pbr rear disc brakes
"brand new" strange 12 bolt rear with full spool and 4.10 gears
welded in sub frame connectors
new centerline wheels all around
racing seats
b&m shifter
10 point cage
dual electric fans
summit rear drag shocks
2 inch lowering springs all around
bmr aftermarket torque arm
and im sure im forgetting some odds and ends
motor - out of the car -
sbc 406
eagle forged crank
eagle h beam rods
ross aluminum pistons
AFR heads
13.5 to 1 compression
solid roller cam around .700 lift
edelbrock super victor intake
and im sure some odds and ends im forgetting there as well.
What do you think any of this would be worth?

Re: to get some ideas
10-12 K to the right person, finding them is the problem! I myself don't think I'd buy a car like that, just because to me building it is half the fun.
If I were you I'd really think about what you are doing. When I got married and bought a house, and got rid of all my go-fast stuff, cars motorcycles etc. 20 yrs. later, here I am back into things full force, regretting that I got rid of everything years ago and wishing I would've stayed on that path. Life experience tells me it is better to set some things down in life, but keep them to return to at a more approprate time.
Good luck in whatever decisions you make. If you part it out I'd be interested in that 12 bolt and possibly a couple of other things....
