I've asked this question a couple of times, but I've never gotten an answer.
So please shoot me some input, any ideas are appreciated.
I've got a '90 RS 305 TBI, and if I shift from 1st to 2nd and resume the throttle at maybe 1/4 throttle it feels as if the car is "missing" but not in an ignition sense, I think it is a fuel issue.
This only occurs at around 1/4 throttle, if it starts doing it and I step on it, the problem immediately goes away and it pulls.
What could this be? Could the injectors be plugged a bit so at low pressure fuel injection the pods don't work as well as they do at full throttle when they're spraying at full pressure?
What I immediately thought of was a low speed circuit of a carb, it feels as if that circuit could somehow be plugged or not working as well, because this only occurs at 1/4 throttle, but I'm not sure whether a TBI has these same circuits.

Another possible culprit I think could be the clutch. I think the "slip point", if you will, has perhaps moved farther toward me and it now engages, rather disengages (the disc) at a different point. Could this be the hydraulic fluid in the cylinder? Maybe the free play needs adjustment?
