odometer not working

Hey all,

I just replaced my vss thinking it would fix my non working odometer but I
was wrong. What else should I be looking at?
Should I have replaced the plastic gear inside as well? It didn't appear to be
damaged.

Is your speedometer working? I know on my 89 auto the speedo and odo work together. Make sure you speedo cable is in right.
