Engine: LG4 305 (originally 2.8L V6)
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3:43 Open Diff.

Smoke question
Is it normal for white smoke to come out of the heat riser when the car is extremely hot. Drove about 2 miles, popped the hood and there was white smoke coming from the heat riser while my radiator cap with the temp gauge built in said 160 degrees but I have a feeling it was hotter than that.

Sounds like you have something leaking onto the exhaust manifold.
