Connecting rod help

I feel stupid asking but i have Scat connecting rods and on one side it says scat 5.7 and a dimple and the other side is blank and i need to know does the dimpled side face to the front of the engine on both the right and the left half of the engine?

the side of the rod wear the bearing tang always faces the outside of the block.

and tang you mean? also the outside of the block mean to the front? im confused sorry..

He's talking about the extra bit of metal at the base of the rod.
Outside the block means facing the sides of the block and not the center.
