Yet another car will not start.

1991 Formula, 5.0 TPI /T5.
So basically, after a 10 minute drive today, my car stalled, and now will not start. I'm currently thinking that the fault is somewhere in the ignition system. What it's doing is that when the key is turned, no lights such as the SES, seatbelt, or e-brake lights in the guage cluster come on, and it will not crank. I do not hear the fuel pump priming either. Nor does the fan, which is wired to the ignition, come on. The car had the VATS system at one point, and its been disabled by a previous owner. My current thoughts are that either a fuseable link in the area of the starter has blown, or a starter wire is loose, but currently I have no way to check it. Basically, im searching for other ideas. I've checked the fuses, and wires I can get to, but I'm looking for other things it could be. All the exterior lights work, and the guage illumination lights work, but the door buzzers, radio, and the indicator beeping to tell you that your lights are still on do not work. What else could I be looking at? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Yet another car will not start.

Disabling VATS means inserting a resistor to fool the VATS module into seeing the resistance it's looking for all the time ... so my first thing would be to verify that that resistor didn't come disconnected.
