Engine: 355 4bbl
Transmission: tko 600
Axle/Gears: 12bolt 3.73
camshaft help
ok i need help here. i put a new edelbrock cam in my 355 and my fuel pump isnt working. could it be that my new cam didnt come with a fuel pump lobe?

Are you saying that your car has a mechanical fuel pump?

its not the stock motor. and its a edelbrock 426 lift cam

if its mechanical, you have to remove the fuel pump to pull the old cam, im pretty sure all the edelbrock cams have fuel pump lobes. are you sure you put the fuel pump pushrod back in?

did you check to see the fuel cam lobe is under load when you installed the cam?
there is a spring actuator in the mechanical fuel pump. you may have wrong length actuactor for the cam.
if you disconnect the fuel line to your carb and crank the
motor does gas pump out?
