There should be a "birth cert" on the inside of the drivers door and also a few stickers under the hood that would give you the information you need. Meanwhile I'll pull up the 350 TBI diagram(s) and post them for you.

You need to make sure there is power and ground to the fuel pump itself when the ignition is on, there may be a break in the power wire or a bad ground.

Here is the wiring diagrams that I have for the 89 350 TBI. The first one is the engine diagram and the second is the body diagram. I dont have the second half of the body though, my file is corrupt and I need to get a new copy. Hope this helps a little. Just click on the pics to view the larger/zoomable versions.

Re: Fuel Pump Does Not Turn On I Replaced the Relay

It's NOT a 350 TBI - no F-body was ever equipped with a 350 TBI. In 1988 there were 3 V8 options:

305 TBI
305 TPI
350 TPI

We need the 8th digit of the VIN to tell you what it originally had in it, so we know what wires you have.

BTW. The fuel pump will only run for about 2 seconds with the key on, then turn back on when the engine is cranking.
