Re: MAF HELP !!
your maf wires may be coated with the armor all and not getting a correct reading. try cleaning it off first with a maf spray cleaner and see if it fixes the issue

Re: MAF HELP !!
My book shows a code 34 as the vacuum sensor circuit. The recommended solution is to:
- check wiring leading to terminals 20, 21, and 22 of the ECM.
- Check the connection at the ECM.
- check the vacuum sensor wiring and connections
- replace the vacuum sensor (located on the firewall to the right of the brake booster)

Re: MAF HELP !!
HANG ON! The revision section of the manual shows code 34 for MPFI V6 and V8 to 1989 as the MAF sensor.
- Low airflow indicated.
- Check terminal C on the MAF sensor. It should be about 0.5 volts at idle and 4.7 volts at WOT.
- Trace the wire from terminal C and look for a short to ground.
- Replace the MAF sensor.
