Car: '89 Formula
Engine: T.P.I. 305
Transmission: Borg Warner T-5
Axle/Gears: Borg Warner 9 bolt - 3.70 posi
high idle.
just need a second opinion. I've had problems with the IAC before, i can pretty well recognize the symptoms. On a cold start, the car won't idle, then once it warms up it will idle at 1000-1500 rpm until i sit a a stop for at least 5 seconds. The IAC that's in there is one that was pulled out of a TBI and has a lighter spring than the normal TPI, thinking it's just worn out. other opinions welcome.
