Cam problem

I just bought an engine from a seller on craigslist. This engine was ran with nitrous and i guess that cam may show it as well. I tried looking up the number engraved on top and it led me to this one http://performanceparts.com/part.php?partID=247370. I know that this engine only accepts flat tappet camshafts and thats what it came to also one the engine when the guy was pulling it he had a msd 6al box and a retard timer, also there was a nos bottle holder so im guessing this engine was ran on nitrous. This is the cam i already bought http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-12-238-2/ and what i want to know which will be better for my engine. Im not going to be running nos any time soon but here are the engraved numbers on the cam NX268H-13 and below that it looks like UM3919-05 and these engravings were NOT from the machine, it looked like someone did them. The engravings that were done by the machine are 115613 and below that is 250031 SAYS MADE IN USA. I dont know which cam will make the over all power but im building this engine up trying to make it 400+ horses. Heres the engine specs: GM # 10067353
New Goodwrench 350 Engine 1971-1985 Car and light Truck Replacement Engine.

Block ,2 piece rear main seal 4 bolt main casting # 10066036
Crankshaft- # 3932444
Nodular Iron 1985 and older flywheel bolt pattern.
Powdered Metal Connecting rods- # 10108688
Cast Aluminum Pistons-#12514101
Hyd Flat tappet Camshaft- #14088839
@ .050"Int 194 / Exh 202 . 383"/ .401" LSA-112
8.5:1
250 HP @4300 rpm
350 ft. lbs of torque @ 3600 rpm

The upgraded parts on this are VORTEC heads, the 062 heads, i have power and amp pulleys, airgap intake, bosch water pump, seeing now i have 2 cams i need help knowing what will make the power i want and not be a wayste. And there will soon to be 1.6 roller rockers, valve springs, retainers, etc all of it. And i will say my buddy thinks the internals were changed to either forged or something stronger. Not 100% sure on that but what cam is going to give me the power i want?

Re: Cam problem

Without knowing the compression and assuming it's 8.5:1 like it came, you'll never make 400HP with either cam with your combination... actually you'll never make 400HP with any cam with that combination.

Also I think both cams would produce similar power to the point of where it wouldn't even be worth swapping them if the NitrousHP one is still installed.
