throttle not opening all the way...not getting enough fuel...engine worn out....will it rev up in park? fuel inj or carbed? my best guess would be throttle cable streached

Obviously the engine's not original if it's a 350, so what's been done to it?

Start with the basics. Check the timing. Not just the initial, but also the centrifugal advance. As noted, verify it's getting WOT. Is it really a 350, and not a 267? How can you know? Have you checked the casting numbers?

Yea it revs up just fine in park. It's carbed... It has an edelbrock rpm performer intake manifold hooker shorty headers and they are open

first id check that throttle cable, and make sure ur getting fuel, not a stopped up filter, and that the 4brl on ur carb is opening, and check timing, also vaccum leaks maybe?
