General Fuel Supply ???'s
Ok i know this is not on my camaro but can help anyone with a MPI engine with my problems, plus the people on the ranger forums are ...... well not to helpfull
anyway i got the 2.3 I4 and EVERY sensor is new, new distb, coil, plugs, wires, filters, compression is great and it hold 21in of vaccum at idle, no cat, anyway it got all i get is 13-15MPG's and it has no power, i mean i know its a lil 4 banger, but a few months ago i could hit 90 with it by itself and 80 with my trailer behind, now i am LUCKY to hit 60 with my trailer behind, and it wants to run HOT too, got a rad flush, flex fan, and 180 stat ....... fuel pressure is 29-34 running but putting it into "test" mode its like 36PSI and thats within the 30-40 range the book says for the "test" mode
my thoughts ......... bad/cloged/dirty/cruddy injectors
please help, lol i love this thing as a D.D. dont have to worry about knicks and dings and all
btw its an 88 ford ranger, with 160k, engine was taken real good care of its spotless under the valve covers
