Oil pressure switch

On a 92 Camaro with TPI, does anyone know at what pressure the oil pressure switch closes? The switch is normaly open under what pressure? I installed new autometer guages so I have to use there sender. So beacuase of space issuses I want to get a unversal oil pressure swicth but I need to know what pressure one to get. I have a one now that is normally open below 9 psi and I'm not sure if that would be ok.

Re: Oil pressure switch

I don't know the exact value, but it's pretty low. Considering that the switch doesn't even do anything 99.995% of the time, 9 psi should be fine.
