Back Firing

Car: 1989 iroc-z
Engine: supercharged 305
Transmission: automatic
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Back Firing

I installed larger fuel injectors on my camaro. It now backfires when i let off the gas and it runs sluggish. I was told i need to burn a new chip. And someone else told me i need a new distributor and wires. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

what psi did you have? What did you go to?

I went up to 24 psi-Accel injectors

The injector constant in your chip needs to match your injector flow rate.

just throwin my in....check ur whole entire exhaust system headers to collectors to muff for any leaks. u would be surprised that any slight leak up by the headers will cause backfiring like a shot gun sound or rapid crackling.
