Yeah, may actually be a place for this but hey what the hell.

For a year now been working on my car and well I'm pretty sure the first post I contributed was "whats this knock"... Well after a year I came to the conclusion it was my flex plate and on instinct ripped my car apart.

My flex plate was cracked and the teeth were separating leading to this inconsistent knock. I'm probably the happiest I have ever been in my life (besides for when my son was born) that this is not my engine.

My knock is fixed, my car is drivable and now its time to get my registration and insurance then take to the road.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped me and to this site in general. Helped me out a lot as did many other sources.

Ill be on here on and off not that it matters or anything.

for now.. I just want to drive my car

Always good to hear when something is actually working as it should! Congrats on fixing it correctly and getting it back on the road. Hopefully it runs good for a LONG time!
