Broken Sensor what to expect?!
So during changing my alternator out today when installing it and inputting tension forbthe belt with a small pry bar it slipped and I hit the sensor on the passenger side of the intake and it inlet on the connector broke, the wiring is still intact and connected to the sensor but it is broken I won't get to replace it for a few days any issues that could arise out of this? I believe it is the cts I broke?

If it is the CTS your system may not be able to understand coolant temp and may affect your fast idle or a surging idle and maybe bounce you around in closed and open loop.

Is the cts the one on the passenger side, because there is two right beside each other on the intake? its on a 87 305 tpi stock setup

Not sure, I have a crossfire injection set up. It is in the center right by the goose neck for the upper radiator hose. Sorry!

If it's the one on the left, the rectangular one with the reddish-brown plastic connector that runs your 9th injector (for added enrichment on cold starts). The oval-shaped one with the black/gray plastic is the CTS.
