PICS NEEDED! 1985 style disc rear line and hose brackets
We are finishing up a 12 bolt build and need close up pictures and pictures that show perspective where disc brake hose retention brackets mount on a factory rear, we are using factory style 1985 cast iron calipers, offset one of the calipers is in front of the rear, the other is on the opposite side. I could use other pictures showing how the lines run etc.
I really appreciate any help.
Thanks, Tim

this is what I need, thanks, do you know if they typically come with a hardline out one one caliper and a rubber hose from the other originally - like yours is set up?
any idea where to find the hose brackets, I have some early Camaro ones (67-69) that I can modify if need be...
thanks a lot, you can see the 12 bolt in the Fabrication forum if you like, thanks again!

Tim, I checked out your 12 bolt. That's a beauty! As far as the lines go I wound go all steel. As I have never thought of a good reason for the rubber line. Hope that helps.
Nice work. Dave

Tim. Could you measure your rear caliper park brake return spring, OD.ID.free length.and wire diameter. Mine are missing and I understand that they are hard to find. I have readied its easy to get ones that are close from a industrial supply store if one had a clue. I need a clue.
Thanks, Dave

I have one extra spring, that I need to save for a spare..I will measure it tonight.
So maybe we will bend up a line.
I don't even have the brass blocks and bolts - the fitting that attaches to the caliper, do you have any kicking around? can I get a correct size line that will thread right in to the calipers (without needing the brass block/bolt set up)
Yeah this is for Kirby's car, he has a lot going on right now, so I am trying to get it all together for him. We slowly built this 12 bolt over the last couple of years.
What size / type thread is the caliper? so I can thread a line with fitting right to it?
What size / type thread is on the brass block / rubber line in the center?
Where can I find a replacement brass block / rubber line for the center? Kirby's was cut by the last owner we believe< I may stop by there later to see if it is there, gone, cut etc

I was wrong. The need to use the rubber line is it uses a binjo bolt. The clippers are the same letf to right. There is as very special fitting that is used on the side that is all steel. If you had two of these very special fitting it would be very easy to to use all steel lines.
Why it is this way?
I think it was a quick fix that made product dead lines.
So if you could find one more of these very special fittings you could run all steel lines.

The pic in your reply is of the axle to body point. This not where your preopems lies. The bigger issue is the conection to the caliper.

yes, I am familiar, that is what I need the brass blocks with the hollow banjo bolts
I have one block, but need three more, one for Kirby's axle, two for my dads
I measured the spring 4.75 long (just under that actually) and 1 across
