The clicking is the starter solenoid.
Check to make sure the battery is fully charged.
Make sure the connections at the starter are correct and tight.

Re: HELP HELP HELP PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
When you turn the key to start, the following things occur:
1. The solenoid on the starter is energized.
2. The solenoid pulls the starter drive gear back so it engages the ring gear.
3. At the same time No. 2 happens, contacts inside the solenoid complete the circuit from the battery to the starter motor to cause it to crank the engine over.
4. Once the engine starts and you release the key to the ON position, the solenoid de-energizes and a spring disengages the starter drive gear from the ring gear.
From the symptoms you describe in your original post, it sounds like it only gets to No. 2. The battery will energize the solenoid but doesn't have enough power to power the starter motor and crank the engine.
Again, make sure the battery is fully charged and check the connections at the starter and the battery.

Re: HELP HELP HELP PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
is it the same trans you took out (as in a 700r4 swapped for a 700r4) is the flex plate the one that was already in the car, or did you get it with the trans? ... are you 100% sure the converter clicked onto each shaft? (should have been 2 "clicks" going in) ... if you look at the flexplate and starter from under the car when someone turns the key, can you see the starter hit the flexplate?
