Need Help!!! Pls!!!
I have a 1990 iroc z. Recently the engine and transmission have been rebuilt. Today the car started to act funny, it has low oil pressure at idle, loss of power, sounds louder out of the exhaust, shakes. I am not sure what it could be

Re: Need Help!!! Pls!!!
Rebuilt as in remachined block, new heads, new alternator new water pump, new cam, new crank, new pistons, new valves, new fuel rails, new injectors, new plugs and disributor, port and polished intake, some other stuff as well that doesnt seem to come to mind right now.
And i think the guy is right with the timing. It also is now hard to start which is a symptom of bad timing i think. The reason i think it started to act weird is because the bracket that the alternator sits on wasnt on all the way, missing a bolt. So the belt was pulling the bracket a little bit in. I took the belt off and secured the bracket. I think in doing that it must have thrown off the timing a lil bit. You guys agree with that or could it be something else? Also noticed the oil pressure drops at idle
