Edelbrock #5227 should fit IIRC.There may be a few interference issues with the A/C compressor depending on what side it is located on.My Z is factory non A/C so it fit without a problem.

I'm in the same boat as boby47. i remember hearing that the edelbrock doesn't fit cars with the ac compressor on the drivers side. it's really tight with the dual snorkel and the compressor is close to the Air cleaner with freon lines sticking out the back

thx to paul huryk for posting the picture, that always helps - just doublechecking, that is the Edelbrock 5227 in the pic? did it clear the AC tubing, or did you have to modify anything? any problem with engine movement causing interference or rub on the brace? looks great, I am almost ready to order one.. I already have the Eibach springs and KYB struts/shocks on all four corners, Lakewood LCA's and panhard bar w/poly's, also ordering poly torque arm bushing - I think the stut tower brace will really clean up the front end handling.. thx to all for your help. bob y

The a/c hoses are not a problem - the top two brackets are. The bracket that attaches to the intake and the top of the a/c braket must be removed. The top of the a/c bracket must be cut in order for the STB to clear. It then fits fine. The pic is not so good for the detailed close-ups. I have since removed my a/c and no problems.

It is the STB for TBI/Carb applications - it may be the 5227, can't remember.

i think i'm going to get the edelbrock, it looks sturdiest of all the carb ones i've seen. does the ac bracket deflect at all without the support strut? i have the side bracket removed because i have headers. do you think a replacement can be fabbed easily?
