Let's play "name that part"!
Hey guys and gals. While going through my T/A, I found this hook thingy.
I have no idea what it is or if it even belongs to the car. Any ideas? Perhaps part of the jack?
I'd appreciate any help in identifying it. Thanks.

Yeah, it's the hook used to hold down a spare tire in the spare tire well, missing the wingnut and the jack base as the upper clamp.

I looks like the part that hooks into the scissor jack to wind it up and down. Hook goes into the jack and the tire iron goes on the end of it to spin it.

Does anyone know if these cars came with scissor jacks at any time? I always thought they used a socket type wrench or a click-type jack.

That looks like the current style GM jack. Maybe someone was using one with that car and left the handle in the car?

This is basically what you should have had from the factory. Your tire may have been different. This is the aluminum spare.
