Dash Lights

The speedo half of my dash lights doesn't come on until I drive for a while. Is there a separate connection for them? Any ideas what is wrong?

Re: Dash Lights

You probably have a short on somewhere on the back of the cluster. There is a printed flexible circuit on the back of the cluster and every once in a while the bulb connections melt. It is a fairly easy fix by using a multi-meter to check for continuity and then painting on a special liquid metal solution. You can find it online, or some parts stores carry it.
