I turn the key and nothing happens im reading 12 volts but its as if im not pressing the clutch i got the starter tested and all the wires are tight

For what it's worth, with a thread title like "Only pros would know", you may not get the help you desire.

That being said, it sounds like a faulty neutral safety switch.

Thing is worked perfectly fine before with no issues car turned over great

How about your cars info? Engine , tranny, year?
Could be neutral safety switch. Could be vats could be ignition switch.

Everything works fine before it quits.
Like others have said, we need more details. Like where did you measure 12v? Do you still have the VATS on the car?

That's pretty standard about how it goes... everything is fine forever, until all the sudden, it isn't.

Starting is as simple as a ball of mud. 12V leaves the ignition switch and goes through several things on its way out that can stop it before it gets to the solenoid. Clutch switch, VATS, a few connectors, etc. All ya gotta do, instead of posting truisms on the Internet and arguing with people trying to help you, is get out there with yer DMM (or even just a test light) and find the thing that isn't letting the juice through.
