Steering column removal

Car: 1988 Pontiac GTA
Engine: 5.7 l98
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: BW 9bolt with torsen carrier
Steering column removal

So I'm removing and replacing my steering column the one hard cable that goes into the steering column I can't seem to get out and don't want to break anything I pryed


on the end of it and remove the retaining clip but the end of that line is still in the fitting does anybody no how to get it off I just don't want to force it and break it

That retaining clip is out but will not come out of its home anyone with advise?

Your not kidding, I've been on here for 20+ years with a break for around 10 in-between. Some help given is found nowhere else. Appreciated
