Firestone killed my car!!!!
I take my car to firestone for a fuel pump and
relay replacement (full time college student, don't have time,
space or tools) Now the guy is telling me that a wire??
is bad and there is a power loss from my ignition module
to the pump and the car dies a few seconds after it starts. I didn't have this problem before and the
guy had an electrician come out and they can't fix it!!
What to do???

If you can i would take it to another shop. I don't know what kind of techs they have there but they should be able to replace a faulty wire. There should be no need to get an electrcian to come out and fix it. Most electricians wire houses or buildings and things of that nature, that does not mean they are capable of messing with wiring in cars. But if it is just a simple wire then the techs or the electrician should easily be able to replace it. I think most would agree and they really should have gotten another tech who knows something about the electrical systems in cars not an electrician.

I think I have it figured it out now.
Before I took it in, I disconnected a few things.
The vacuum plug was one and another was ummm...
something ummm.. that thing that connects to the thing
behind the driver side headlights.(help: what is this called??)

The Charcoal canister???? Well, on V6's the battery and canister are reversed ... but they aren't any vacuum lines on the battery. That canister vents and filters fumes from the gastank i think.
