I should have specified that this is for my 65 Malibu, but isn't it the same on all 350's?

The cylinder #'s should be the same for 305 and 350, 1-3-5-7 on the drivers side, and 2-4-6-8 on the passenger side, from the front of the car. The firing order should be stamped on the intake manifold, just in front of the distributer. Of course, finding which post on the cap is TDC can be interesting. My dad and I had to pull the plug from the #1 cylinder, then "bump" the car until the piston was all the way up, then pull the cap to see where the rotor was pointing. To make it easier in the future, my cap now has a deep scratch to indicate TDC.
