how about we all ignore them when they are driving around. And laugh at them if they ask you to race. Ask them if the have a v-8. If they say no, say not worth my gas then. Whatever happened anyways to "your cars only cool if its a v-8"

Hey any one who spends a lot of time and money stealing type R and VTEC badges, and puts on a garish body kit and a huge freakin rear wing and still wants to run a 17.0 is cool in my book.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. :lala: :lala:
Sorry just couldnt keep a straight face anymore.
Besides it is always cool to hear them say "Well my car gets better gas mileage!!."

Summertime is the best for doing this (because they can hear you). Windows are down and you drive by a rice boy in his riced out (Civic/Sunflower/Cavalier/Accord/Whatever) and you stick your hand out your window, point at them, and LAUGH as loud as you can (so they can hear you). Then if by chance you see their pink taillights (because they have clear taillights) turn on and whip a U-turn, wait for them to catch up. Then when they pull up next to you all pissed, ask them if they can follow you to your house becuase the kids in the neighborhood have been looking for a swingset (their 3 foot tall rear wing) to play on. Then spool up the turbos and take off, knowing they can't catch you and your 11 second 1/4 mile.
Well.. that's what I will do as soon as the TurboII is up and ready.

I remember an incident a while back when I was working with a buddy of mine. We were driving down the parkway when we see this EM&EM looking charcter driving a ***** with a hugh chrome pipe and some silly writing on it. I said "pull and lets get a look at this guy" Then we here the pipe. I start laughing my freind starts laghing. The guy gets upset and stands on it. This car had no ***** and could not pull away from our fully loaded work van(We were racing him or anything). It just the pipe got real loud and he went no where. This made us laugh much harder andhim really look upset. Not much he could do though with 2 6ft 2 250 lb Camaro guys laughing at him. Slim shady looked like he had about as much power as his 2.0 litre.

$1 for racing someone, geez, must be nice. If I'm going to be racing, 100 octane is a must.

whenever me and my buddies see rice and we know that they will see us,whether it be walking or in our cars,we make it a point to laught, point, and shake our heads, sometimes even giving them a big thumbs down.they usually get pissed and laugh right back at us in a sarcastic manner, then we know we've done our job.

Well I guess the only good thing to come out of this ***** fad is that there isnt as much Ford vs Chevy rivalry. Now its more domestic vs ricers. I remember in high school, the GM guys wouldnt even speak to the Ford guys. Now I have several friends who have 5.0's.

I hate ricers.. but then again I laugh at anyone who spent money on a V6 F-Body, or bought an Automatic Camaro/Firebird/Mustang/Corvette (that last one really gets me..)
Automatic transmissions belong in grandma's car, and in drag racers who need consistent times. That's about it. I'd rather drive my beater Civic with a manual than drive an automatic Corvette.

So what you are saying, Barwick, is that you would laugh at a 350 IROC, GTA. or Vette that has an automatic
Bring your car my way! I have an automatic..........
Anyways......350 IROC's and GTA's could only be gotten with an automatic and they would beat the 5-speed anythings from the F-Body lineup (Turbo TA's exception).....
false logic my friend...........when you miss third gear you definitely won't keep up!
EDIT:
Oh my gosh........Barwick is slamming automatic Camaros and Vettes.......everyone click on his profile and read his cars!!!!!!!!!!!!:sillylol:

Well for me I used to be like you guys hating on imports like crazy. but now I just respect cars if they are Fast...well atcually I only respect a car if its RWD. But anyways you guys shouldnt just laugh at imports. There are alot down here that can take out alot 3rd gens...sad to say...but its true. There are alot of 13 second and faster imports down here...maybe not up there...but down here alot are pretty damn fast. I mean teh said thing though is how a import guy with a motor swap will say V8's suck when the motor in the import isnt even the stock motor...or that it has like 8k in mods into it O_o I find alot of imports kinda sad atcually...but I respect alot of them...for alot of them can take me out O_o I know how my freind jokes around talking **** about my car. Being a camaro...and loosing to his FC! (2nd gen turbo rx7) haha...his car is in a higher class then my car. I'm a RS the bottom of the line camaro. And without even punching it off the line (no tire chirp, to wheel spin, nothing, I feathered the gas way to much) I ran a 14.9@94mph and his best e/t is 14.7@96 or something and hes got more mods also O_o but oh well...I just battled with what I said in teh beginning huh? now i"M talking **** about imports. Haha...

I think the majority of people on this board actually respect fast imports. It not so much the fact that they are imports. It's just "rice", these are the compacts that throw some stickers on, a big exhaust tip, a park bench for a wing, and THINK they are fast. This go for Escorts and Cavaliers and Neons in my opinion. They are just domestic rice.
If someone honestly has dumped $8K into an import and it is fast, then they get my respect. But $8 in stickers doesn't

Well any s**t talker gets no respect. When you combine the fact that they have a lame car with stickers and(I still don't get this)the 5 inch muffler. Can anyone explain this?
Also, Yes I have a freind with an 86' Camaro that had another freind with a shop do all kinds of work to his car. He talks more crap than anyone which is annoying because he didn't do any of the work. Also he doesn't have any timeslips. But what he does have are mythical horsepower numbers I believe it was 385 at last count. Yes 385 with stock unported heads and 9 to 1 pistons.
I was in the car it wasn't that fast maybe a mid to high 14. I would like to shut him up but you can't talk sense to some people.

well, this isn't just a ***** problem, this is with all people that think an exhaust and intake will help their cars run 12's.
i hate ricers who put rediculous exhaust tips on their cars, just as much as i hade mustangs and camaros that aren't fast, but the owner thinks that they are. i know neither one of my cars is fast: civic = 16 sec car camaro = 15 sec car and i don't front like they are either. but i'll still race (within reason)

autos are better for drag racing, theyre more consistent. in Corvettes its probably about 75% or more are autos. plus the stick shift cars tend to be abused to death, while the auto Vettes were carefully driven by older people and not stomped on all the time. not to mention an auto is easier on the fragile rears of our cars, and you cant over-rev it (unless you shift it manually). also, put a converter in a auto car and you can reduce your times by up to 5 tenths. you cant do that in a manual car. would i have bought a manual Vette over a stick? sure, but i would have probably had to wait a LONG time to find one in decent shape. Barwick, youd rather drive a manual Civic than a auto Corvette? wow, thats the most rediculous thing ive ever heard. if youve ever driven or even got the chance to ride in a corvette, youd dump that Civic off a cliff to own one. yes, even a auto

The Truth...
Don't you guys realize that the chinese writing adds like 20-30hp, and that chicks dig big tips(fart can)? The cheese grader(double and tripple spoiler) and the shopping cart handle(20ft high single wing) help w/ that down force problem, especially adding traction on the back of a front wheel drive. Those light-weight things need down force at the high speeds of 50mph that they get up to. Come on, they need that 10 foot wide body kit to make those piece of sh**s handle. I've never met one that had the brains of a mosquito, so they have to have all the help they can get driving. -
A friend of a friend brings his gutted CRX to the track w/ us in a 98 Cobra convertible( ALL stock). Now, the CRX is spraying for about a 150 shot, plus the illucid fart can. His best pass was 15.52, to my 13.96 with two people in the car! It was at night and I couldn't even find him in the mirrors. My worst pass of the night was 14.40, and I missed 3rd. - 'nuff said -

Hey I have an auto, and although I would love to change it, I don't want to spend $1600. I appreciate autos, but you can't beat a stick. I also want to see your guys opinion on a shift light in an auto, I was going to get a tach with a light, but I don't want to take any grief. What do you guys think???
