Corvette VS. Topaz Xr5...
Well, I must admit I had my doubts about the 1992 Mercury Topaz Xr5's, but I saw one run today and I'm impressed. 
My buddy with an 83 Cheverolet Corvette (rare, yes I know
) got beat by a car length by a 92 topax Xr5 up to 100.. I guess he underestimated him by racing him for slips. He must have felt stupid but then again he isn't out that bad.. You should have seen the look on his face when the topaz pulled off the line..

yes there were few made!! .... it was the only year covettes wernt mass produced and people think that it wasnt made. ill look it up for u

i say we should flame u cuz now ima have to hear that fagget camaro boi run his ****in mouth off. but u know wat i know u bsin cuz no 83 vette but camao dont know it and now ima have to hear it. on top of that man ur friend cant drive worth **** if he lost to a topaz and a bigger dumbass for racin slips cuz even if he did win he would have won a ****tycar and on top of that if u race a pos for slips there are 2 out comes one u lose cuz its prob modified so much he dont have money for looks and if he got a better car then it would be a sleeper. 2 he wins a pos

no corvettes were ever titled or registered as an 83' model. there is a car at the NCM, but its really just a very very early 84' (basically a prototype). once again there were NO 83' Vettes

No i think the l82 was a carb. The L83 was cross-fire - injection. I think that was the only year it was available on a vette. then they switched to tpi in 84 on the l98. I may be wrong though.
But yes the 82 vettes were cross fire injection. They were rated at like 220hp stock. pretty low. U cant find many 82 vettes for a reason they all suck. I thijnk it ran a 15.1 in the 1/4 mile. and 0-60 in 7 sec. I have only see 1 in my entire life.
