Definitely Z-28. What are the mods on the SVT? Those contours stock hit mid to low 15's.

From what I know, The Contour has some kind of underdrive pulleys and maybe a 50 shot, I ain't quite sure, I don't have all the info. The Z-28 is stick shift and so is the Contour

Yeah I really don't see the Contour takin the Z28 unless the Z28 is high mileage and way outta tune.

Nah, The Z is in good shape and from what he told me, Has 63,000 on it

Well considering he can hit high 13's low low 14's stock, I dont see the Contour beating him....

z wins hands down unless the contour is running a lot of juice..

I don't think i'd trust a ford product on a lot of juice though, nor would it last long..

Same ol', same ol'. Less intimitating coming from a Tempo...oh, I'm sorry, Contour. Who else agrees? The Contour is just the Tempo with a better name. Which is good. I like the cars. I've owned 2. But come on...Tempo? Topaz?
All the same, they are 15 second cars...7 point something to 60. I've heard nothing bad about them. Car is a little heavy for the 4 cylinder. V6 works ok.
Hands down the Camaro wins.

a friend of mine has a svt contour and i was p retty impressed with it. Its not exactly the fastest thing, but for what it is, it was pretty quick.

oh ya and another thing its kinda cool cause it works similar to that zr1 engine in a way or a vtech.
