93 Civic Rapes 600hp Supercharged Corvette

so i was in woodbridge in the summer. this guy was at our chill spot with his ferrari testarossa and his corvette. they where both yellow and alot of people where crowded around him lookin at his cars.
i go over and ask him if hes lookin for a race. he says sure what you got. i point at my civic and he smirks. i say it wont be a wast of his time and he says ok.
well lets just say i pounde the 91 ferrari testarossa bad. it wasnt even a race. beat him twice. he says well this isnt my race car so race my supercharged corvette. his buddies drivin it and it looks mean. i say sure but i dont think i can take it.

we line up three times on an industrial road and i rape him three times in a row. each time by about three cars. **** what a rush.
after we are all talkin and gettin along. he took a video of the spankin. he told me after he would have bet any amount of money that the vette would have beat me. he later did 12.2 at cayuga drag way.

my civic is a 93 coupe si with a stock 2.2 h22a 4 cylinder. it weighs 2000 pounds and i used spray that night. lets just say i was one of the fastest cars on the street this summer in toronto candada.

OK I want to see your mods

You ever have the feeling like you have done something before exactly like your doing now. That's freakin' weird!!!!

forgive me if i'm having trouble believing you....but i am. Actually replace "having trouble" with "NOT"....... YEAH, that works....

sorry man but a 2000 pound civic is gonna need a bit more than an H22 and some Nitrous to beat 600hp, vette or no vette.

dude have you ever raced on the street before? give your head a shake. if i do low 12's at the track on a street tire and the vette does low 12's high 11's at the track who do you think will do better on the street? my tourqe curve loves the street. plus my lsd works well on the street to. high tourqe monsters with street tires dont do as well on the street . this is a fact. why you embarasin yourself like this?

so basically what you are saying is that you had at LEAST a 500 hp shot of nitrous to get your tiny little motor up to 600 hp.

and i highly doubt that a stock motor can handle a 500 hp shot of nitrous and still run.

LMAO 600hp makes alittle better than a high 11. Hell he could go half throttle and make better than that. On the street I cant run WOT in 1st or 2nd. It just spins. That doesn't mean I cant still go. I just go at alittle lower throttle and make only 5psi then when I know I can go wide open its like a can of whoop *** got opened. Quit with the its wasting our time. BTW he would have a better chance at hooking up than a "500hp" civic with stock LSD would :sillylol: Dude, you just got owned!

ok so what you are saying

2000 lbs/ 300 hp = 6.7 lbs per hp

3200 lbs/ 600 hp = 5.3 lbs per hp

he has you beat in the hp to weight ratio that the import guys always like to front.

Could this be another '83 Vette? Cause if it is, then I think that he should be in my car club. Man there is no way you could take an 83 Vette, we had the expiremental LS9 with a 7 spd. So unless you have a LT10 swapped in, which I doubt, cause only me and Bob Lutz know of it, because Bob Lutz gave it to me as a b-day present. Once I drop in my 8-spd I will take you in my 83 Vette. You can even use "2 of the big bottles".

so your saying your NOS has a switch under the gas pedal to kick in every time you punch it to you floor? cuz even if you hit NOS in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear.. hes gonna ****ing kill you in 1st.
and at that time, you would need a 500 shot.

that is a very odd thing to say? why would he kill me off the start. why would i want the spray to hit in first. that would be stupid. you dont want alot of hp in first on the street. to much wheel spin and you go nowhere. i have a switch on the shifter and i hit it when i go into second. with my skinny road course tires and my lsd i launch really well. why would the vette lauch better than me? with double the hp and tripple the tourqe your gonna get to much wheel spin in first on the street. we raced three times and i beat him every time. no excuses.

the only car that could ever launch better then me was zo6 corvette. with that suspension and those new 295 block tread design he would take me by three cars right out of the hole. all other v8 cars with LOTS OF TOURQE go nowhere on the street. they just spin. what a waste. if you had that tourqe at 5000 rpm then that would be moter!!!!! unless your drivin around on a drag slick every day than thats a different story. what you gonna get out and put slicks on your car every time you gonna race? **** thats a bad setup if you ask me.

I run Nitto 555Rs mostly all the time. A quick spin before I race someone in the winter and I can pull a 1.9 60' on the street. In the summer you don't even need to warm them up. STFU if you don't know what you're talking about.

The only way for Civic to rape a car is to physically assualt the vette without the vette's consent.

If your car can run low 12's even with juice and you are one of the faster cars in Toronto? There are street legal v-8s down here that can run low 6's. Hell Voodoo ran 6.66, and he is street legal. I know a kid that is 17 and has a Monte Carlo pushing over 450 HP(that is very conservative number, not really sure) and he did all the work himself, and he can hit 12's easily, might even dip into the 11's. So if he came up to Toronto would he be one of the fastest cars on the street? It cost him 3k to do all the work himself, and compare that to how much you "supposedly" spent on your Civic. Honestly, come down to the states and try to run your mouth about having a fast car when all you run 12's and you will get bitch slapped around by Import and Domestic alike.

Last part, if the Monte Carlo can hit mid 12's, then does that mean he could take the supercharged Vette you raced that has better gears and more hp?

Bwahahhahaha!!! Oohhh I just love the part where you say that your Torque curve is perfect for street racing in one of your posts. Torque and Honda do not go together Champ.

The car did pull a high 12 in perfect conditions. That part is true.

But the car is no where near stock.... do similar mods to an F-bod and then you've got a race.... drop an LS6 and mod it up... cut about 600lbs out... see what happens.

The guy with the 'vette was obviously a fuçktard who went up in smoke because he couldn't stick the launch.

BTW those road racing tires ARE slicks.... and are NOT DOT legal.

And yeah... that civic is ugly as sin. But I have to hand it to him... no real r-ice on it.... you could call r-ice on the CF hood, but it is functional.

ok so what this kid right here is saying thats its not even a street car really.i bet the body is stripped of just about everthing.the interior prolly has NOTHING but the absolute bare essentials.and now hes running non-DOT legal tires on it.IMHO youre a loser and a chump if you take your car to the streets and call people when your using slicks and your car is only streetable to the point to where it has lights and thats about it.sorry if this applies to anyone here in the boards that owns a 3rd gen,but its only MY opinion.so deal with it.oh yeah and CiViC BoI with the MaD TyTe RyDe you say no one can launch better than you?HAHA well i take it you dont have any AWD DSM's up there,or WRX's for that matter. if this race IS true, which it could be due in part to a BAD driver who doesnt have any idea what kinda power was under his foot, then you really didnt beat the car,you beat the dumbass behind the wheel.and if youre king of the streets, then i think im gonna have to show up next summer if that stupid rochester-toronto ferry gets done and take your dumbass on.and dont worry, ill be packing both the Camaro AND the Talon, just to make you look that much worse.:lala:
