Hustled a couple import boys last night with the 4 pak

While out last night with a few of the boys, a black MX6 pulls up. One of my boys has a 13 second probe and the kids in the MX6 were eyeing it up pretty hard, so I yell over to them "hey, can I get a piece?" So after a little discussion, it's settled that they'll race the probe and then if they beat that then they would race the Mustang. So the passenger in the MX6 and I hop in my Jeep and follow the Probe and MX6 to the spot they'll race. We casually have a conversation...enough for me to get him to trust me...and he's asking all about the Mustang. I tell him that it's a 4 cylinder and that the fastest I've ever seen it go was a 15.4 and that the Probe usually pulls the Mustang by about a half a car length to 60 so he's pretty confident that the MX6 can beat both of them. Finally, the MX6 and the Probe line up...the bottle wasn't open on the Probe...even through first, even through second, then my boy in the Probe shifts from 2nd to 4th and let's the MX6 take the win. So we get back, talk a little ****, and convince them to raise the stakes in the next race because "we want to try to recover our losses." So again, the passenger from the MX6, the driver of the Probe, and I hop in the Jeep and follow them. They get to the spot again, and we're right behind the Mustang. When they take off, the Mustang just sits there while the MX6 takes off leaving a very distinct smell behind him as the guy in the passenger seat beside me laughs under his breath. Finally, after the MX6 is about 3 - 4 cars out in front, the Mustang takes off. The front end comes up, rear end squats and the Mustang takes off after the MX6 as Daniel and I laugh very loudly. They were dead even by the time the Mustang hit the top of 2nd gear and after that the Mustang just walked away

I swear, it's only got 4 plug wires. Want to count?

Car: too many ...
Yup that little 2.3 on boost can haul ***. I supprised soooo many cars on the freeway with my old 85 SVO. The car looks like a beater so people always used to tease me (rust everywhere, different color hood, etc). I bought it for $1500 thinking it would make a good drift car. Unfortunately it was not a good drifting car (snap oversteer sucks!). People saw it on the road and didnt hear a rumble so they wanted to race thinking it would be an easy win against a Stang. Before they knew what was going on they heard a wooooosh and all they saw was taillights. I took it up to 145 mph on the freeway a few times. Even supprised a few V8 owners. Mods are a gutted VAM, PE ECM with green top injectors (35#), Volvo IC, 3" downpipe, full single 3" exhaust, and uppped boost (15 psi). I was getting ready to do the Eslinger heads, a 90 shot, and a T3/T4 hybrid (keep in mind now it still looks like a beater LOL) but I ended up giving it to one of my Uncles in exchange for him fixing my house (alot of flooring work and stuff). All in all I spent a total of $2400 on that car (including the car). Talk about bang for the buck. But I sucked @ the 1/4 mile with a best time of 13.8. My crappy launch/slip techniques ended up frying the clutch (still STOCK!! LOL). I give those cars a thumbs up!!

You guys are dumb asses! Why wouldnt you plan the hustle ahead of time to get your money back instead of trying to talk it in right after a race where you just lost money. Not too mention that you would be racing again! If you would tried that **** up my way everyone and brother would have seen through it. You keep doing stuff like that and someone is going to hustle the hustlers

So after a little discussion, it's settled that they'll race the probe and then if they beat that then they would race the Mustang.
Reading a little more carefully would avert these embarassing situations

A discussion between who...you and YOUR boys/gals/whatever or you and the dudes in the MX6?

This is what I'm talking about. You guys just lost a race and $$$$$$. What I'm saying is that you and your boys should have discussed this loss before it happened and already make your optimal bet on the second race. I mean what happens if the dude in the MX6 decides to call it quits after the first race?

Yea, I get what you're saying, but if they get back and back out of the deal they initially agreed on, which was to race both cars, then they don't get their money. Doesn't sound that complicated to me If they won't raise the stakes any, everyone breaks even (not that I'm going to front any money for someone else to race on anyway) and gets to watch some good racing.

it must be cause I just woke up with a slight hang over, but i dont understand a single thing in this post... Let me get this strait.... you watched a MX6 beat a probe, you go home, get your 4 banger stang, and whip them? right? and whats this deal about money? You bet on the probe, you lost... you win in the stang, you get your money back... problem? right? wrong?

OK, let me be very clear here...people present were:

Nic --- Jeep
Mo --- 4 cyl Mustang
Daniel --- Probe
Patrick --- Viper
No **** --- I don't know her name, but she was with someone
a few other random people that I didn't know
MX6 guy and his buddy

We started talking to the guys in the MX6, they were interested in racing the Probe, but were also eyeing the Mustang, so...what everyone agreed on was that they'd race the Probe and then they'd come back and race the Mustang. Had they not agreed to come back and race the Mustang also, then Daniel would have just sprayed and walked away with a few extra bucks. No **** held the $80 ($20 per person for each race). This is where it comes in handy to be able to run a pretty good game...while the guy's buddy and I are in my Jeep to play "witness" so that nobody backs out or lies about the race I strike up enough of a conversation with him to get him to trust me and then I proceed to tell him the fastest the Mustang's ever been was 15.4. I explain to him that it's not my money to lose so I don't give a damn who wins or loses anyway. So when we get back, Daniel makes a big scene about how we pressured him into racing and now he's out $20. Mo then speaks up and offers to up the bet so that he can have a chance at recovering Daniel's money for him. So MX6 dude's buddy (who wreaked of hard lemonade so bad I had to roll the window down) urges his buddy to do it so the guy bites. That's how it goes down...we wouldn't pull this **** on the pike, but it was pretty easy to get by with on a couple of 18 year old ricers.

And yes, I do go to F'burg occasionally...haven't been in a couple months though because of the blown motor.
