383 vortec HP guess?

Hello all, I need some gearheads' opinions on how much power my 383 is making. they are torque monsters i know so heres the goodies. scat crank, 10.8:1 compression, cam is 230 and 236 duration at .050 and the lift is 496 108* lsa. Vortec heads with bigger springs and crane gold race rockers (1.5). performer rpm airgap with a 650 demon. I have a good ignition set up and headers and all that other jazz. Its going into an 86 TA thats about 3400 lbs with me in it, so if you want to take a stab at the 1/4 ET its got 3.73's in the 9 bolt rear and a t-5 with a 2.95 1st gear ratio. dual metallic clutch and high pressure pressure plate. all spohn adjustable suspension, t tops. Any input would be appreciated and only constructive criticism will be allowed.....please lol

I would say that you are in the 360hp range.

I'd guess 400hp. How much did all that cost you? I'm looking to see how much I need to save for my 383. Also, 650 carb may be a bit small, depending on if you are planning to go any bigger in the near future. I hope you got a nice big fuel pump too, otherwise you won't be making any power. When I put in the bigger cam in my LG4 (which is still really small) I had to go through 2 new fuel pumps to get one that would feed the motor.

For a little while. I ran a T-5 behind a Hotcammed LT4 for almost 5 years. Just put new synchros in it and it held for 12.8's. Swapped to a T-56 this past summer.

yeah the t-5 is holding up so far, I'm not expecting it to hold up like a Lenco thouhg lol. Oh just wondering, you guys seen that super t-5 from ford in the summit mag? its like 1200 bux, I was thinking about getting that but I have a spohn crossmember and torque arm and I don't know if it will mount up to that. oh yeah I called demon before i bought that carb, they took in every part of my engine before they reccomended anything. The 650 pulls fine till 6000 (haven't had it past that) and the throttle response is killer, and if I had the money for a dyno I wouldbut daggonit I am not taking that thing out of the car again lol thanks for y'all's healp
