87 formy vs. 00 roush 2

Im running the car in my sig with almost everyong you can do for traction short in the rear suspension. im going to used a wide set of slicks for the race (back roads no traffic we will mark and exact quarter mile)
his car is an 2000 roush stage 2 with a vortech charger and a short shift thats it. my dyno numbers are 378hp peak and 390 lbs tq peak. i took cobra of the same year by a long shot but this roush is charged so i dont know. anyone got an idea?

Re: 87 formy vs. 00 roush 2

is the mustang on street tires or drag radials? if hes on street tires, definately go from a dig. if you do that, i think you'll have him.

Re: 87 formy vs. 00 roush 2

hes on bfg g-force takdw's hes a stupid good driver and even with roushes 3.88 gears in it he doesnt loose traction through gears and very very little from a launch. from being in the car with him it feels like it pulls as hard as mine.

You were spraying, right?

Not surprising you crushed him out of the hole, thats the 3rd gen's home field advantage.
