Winter storage
Hey guys,
Just wanted to know how many of you put fuel stabil in your gas.
I'm a little worried that if I put that stuff in, it will ruin my injectors.
How much of it do you put into the tank?
Thanks!

I was going to put some fuel line anti-freeze in and run it a bit before I park it. Any comments on that?

SBlackfoot: I believe the Sta-bil stuff acts as a anti-freeze as well.
The use of stabilizer is completely up to you. I've used it every year without a problem and Scott has never used it without a problem. For $9 I would just put it in anyway. But if you would rather spend it on a beer, then I understand too.

I have never used any additives. Like Trigger said, put it away with a full tank and you'll have no worries. I have been storing the car in this manner every winter (except one) since 1993.
