Alot of different sites are down due to all this outage.
Did you lose power down there to Jon? We went down just shortly after 4pm, and finally got power back around 8:30pm. Man it was a weird feeling when they started saying that some people may be without power for a couple of days. The part that really bothered me about the situation was the polititians and the media. At this time who cares who was at fault? Lets get everyone safe and the power back on, and then worry about who did it! Geez this is ridiculous! But it was cool to see all the people in Toronto, and New York city etc. coming together to help each other out in the name of safety etc. Now that is what I call coming together for the better, which lately I havent' seen to much off, it's either a American bad mouthing Canadians, or Canadians bad mouthing Americans. Geeeezz!! Let drop this who better then who crap and go back to the way it was before the 9 11 attacks. If we keep it up... the terrorists have still won, as they have seperated two of the biggest, strongest and brother like countries in the world.

I never lost power here in RI, but states all around me went down.

New York, Detroit ( ), Hartford, Cleveland, etc.
Did you see the news footage of the people walking home during the evening rush hour? My buddy down here was saying that 20,000 people were lined up to take the Long Island ferry home, because it was shut down. 20,000! *** forbid that there be an emergency, because it was gridlock to the tenth power.

I haven't heard too much about the bickering, but Canadian media cares about Canada/US relations a lot more than US media does.

Your media Statement is very true.

We just lost power again for about a hour and a half, but they told us this would be the case. Funny part is people are jsut loading up on fuel, and most stations are feeding off this. Most of them bumped their prices to around $0.80 a litre Bloody greedy people!!! I found one station here in Welland that was nice enough to keep their prices at the regular $0.68 per litre.

i was out of power for 25 freaking hours man...i couldnt do anything..no computer, no tv, no ps2..no working on the car (need power to do what i need to do..) and the worst thing..

NO GF...shes in pennsylvania for something that involves her grandfather..so i couldnt even do *ahem*..oh well..at least we are up again..
