Are any of the aftermarket systems (ex MiniRam, super ram, stealth ram etc ) compatable with vortec heads? How about LT1 intakes?
It's hard to beat the performance per dollar of those heads, but I do not want to be perminantly stuck with just TPI if I go that route.

You can use the SDPC vortec base and the superram runners and plenium with the vortec heads. You can also use the mini ram that is designed for vortec heads.

Thanks man, one more question. How does a sr base differ from the modded tpi base for vortec heads? Is it basically the same? In other words will it allow the same benefits that a supperam is known to give you or would it alter it's effect?

Its basically the same, the superram/vortec base is larger then the stock TPI base but the same stock will work ok with a superram. For max power the Vortec base would be better then a TPI base but a TPI base will work.
