Code 42, will setting timing trip this code?

Code 42, will setting timing trip this code?
When you unhook the spark advance will this set of a code 42? I think I remember this, but you cannt search for code 42 becuase 42 isn't longer than three letters. This is the only code I get after the cam swap and engine over hual. I checked this to see if I could find the answer to my lower idle issues. I think the ECm is learning the new cam like it did last time.

Yes, as soon as you disconnect the timing bypass connector, code 42 will set. Clear the codes, and if it does not come back, thats all it was.
