Car: '89 Formula 350 & '86 Z28
Engine: L98 & 355ci
Transmission: 700r4 in both
MAF Firebird CAI??
After searching for a CAI setup for my 89 Formula 350 I found a few old posts with links and pics that did not work anymore. I would like to see anyones CAI on a Firebird/TA with MAF.
BTW, I got a free TPIS airfoil today, from a friend who wrecked his IROC a few years ago. He said I could have anything he has left over, I forgot to ask him about his flowmaster!

i got no pics ,but i can tell you exactly what i did to my 86 305 tpi, there is the smog canister and where your stock air box is , i took everything out and just relocated the smog canister away from where i was doing the work , you will see a plate with about 4 screws underneath , i removed that and cut a 3 inch hole in the car and stuck the a k@n cone filter underneath the car, than i put the smog canister back and made a few holes to hold it in its place
as for gain i figure about 15 hp , she moves good now
