Just got SLP/Catco/Flowmaster installed and car barely runs

My friend just had SLP headers and a Catco cat and a Flowmaster American Thunder installed on his Camaro he takes to shows.

Here is the problem.

When he picked his car up yesterday late, and then started driving home, his engine was running terrible. It runs like "it is on two cylinders". It will barely go up hills. It shakes and vibrates.

I bet him that the shop fried the computer. They ended up having to replace the temperature sensor and several other hoses, etc. during the job.

What do you think they did to introduce the problem?

What do you think the most likely problem is?

Make sure they hooked all the plug wires back up.

Ouch.. sucks.. i try to never let someone touch my car.. certified or not.. etc... Headers intstall is pretty easy task.. the only hard part is the back passenger side plugs and wires to reinstall.. I can almost bet the plugs and wires are screwed somewhere.. hook up a timeing light and make sure everything is fireing.

Make sure the wires are hooked up in the correct firing order too. Since they put headers on they definitely had all the wires off. That would make the car run on only a few cylinders. Check it out.

SES light come on? If it isn't plug wires then I would start looking for vacuum hoses that need re-connecting.

a lot of the wires might be one but if you jst put on headers they could be burnt from running it before the shop tied them up or put on soom wire looms..i say check the ohms for the wires first....
