car broke down out of nowhere
Ok, here is the story......
I was driving along the road, going on an on ramp....next thing you know, I lose all power (not electrical).....I tried to start the car and then it won't start. It cranks, but it won't turn over at all.....Someone please give me an answer....and I know it isn't the SPARK PLUGS!!!

The last time that happened to me, it was the battery, the positive post had broken off, but it wasn't visually evident.

You say the motor turns over, right? Well, if it is, does the tach move at all when it is turning over? If the tach just sits there and does not move one bit, it is most likely the ignition module. The tach doesnt move because it is not getting any signal from the distributor due to the ignition module crapping out. My advice is to buy a new module from GM, as the parts store brands only last a few months i most cases. I hope this helps.
