firing order
just did a tune up on my 89'formula 350 TPI, car will not start. I have external coil model of the TPI and not quite sure where each number cylinder matches up on this disributor. On regular HEI distributor I have no problem finding the order.I used a repair book for the firing order which i am sure is correct but, not sure if it is on the right spot. Any help is appreciated.

Get the #1 cylinder at TDC and take off the dist cap and the rotor button will be pointing at where the #1 spark plug wire should be. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Good luck and I hope this helps.
