what would cause a header tube to glow orange? its only the two inner tubes mainly?
i'm not sure why this is, any suggestions?

At night, no lights, not coated, not too uncommon. It's usually running a little lean, causes temps to go up and orange glow.

yes it is only at night that i notice this and its only at the part closest to the head. and the headers are not coated they are just regular hooker long tubes. could maladjusted timing along with running lean do this?
