88 TPI fuel pressure regulator

Hello,

I have installed a TPI setup from an 88 Camaro on my car, and once everything was completed I did a fuel test before starting it up. Glad I did, as I noticed a fuel leak at the regulator block, running down where the return line goes, it also looked a little saturated at the gasket on top.

I will dissable the plennum tomorrow, but my question is could it be leaking from the lines one the block itself, or is it more likely the gasket - or even something else?

Not sure if its a stock regulator... do stock ones have a allen head bolt directly on top, and is this for fuel pressure adjustment?

Many thanks in advance.

The leak is more likely the diaphragm/gasket and not the block, but check all the 'O' rings at line connections to the regulator base just to be sure.

If the regulator has an adjustment bolt on top of the spring can, it is not stock. It may be a complete replacement aftermarket FPR, or may have been converted,
