what would i need..

what would i need to beat a 89 5.0 that runs 13.5 on motor and 11.5 on the spray....i have a 91 z28 and i want a l98 and a 6 speed... i was thinking an lt4 cam,ported heads,ported plenum, and i don't know what else... i just want to beat his a$$ on the highway.... on the spray his mph is 109.... so it's all out of the hole...

lol....an LS1. Anyway he must have a pretty built 305 to run 11.5 on spray. Thats really good for a 305. I take it hes got a carb. car?

I think he's talking about a mustang, which is a 302

if i were you..... i would go with ether the TPIS or AS&M setup up top, with ported heads if not new ones like trick flow or even AFR, and cam, not to big though. that, motor for motor should put you better than him, but on the juice he'l dust you, even if you put juice on your car.

but all that with a six speed would be sick.
